Terms & Conditions

Introduction

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  • Fox Trading & Events Ltd referred to as “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement).

  • Organisers refers to Fox Trading & Events Ltd and third party contractors associated with organising and running the event.

  • "Event" and "Festival" is in reference to Fox Festival.

  • Service refers to the Website.

  • Terms and Conditions (also referred as “Terms”) mean these Terms and Conditions that form the entire agreement between you and the company regarding the use of the service. 

  • Website refers to the company site, accessible from http://www.foxfestival.co.uk

  • When We refer to "You" or "Your", this means You, the person accessing or using the Service or the company.

Tickets & Entry

  • By purchasing Your ticket(s) through our ticketing agents website, You are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

  • You will be emailed a Booking Confirmation along with E-ticket(s) following purchase.

  • No entry will be permitted without a valid e-ticket.

  • The Organisers reserve the right to conduct bag searches upon entrance to ensure no prohibited items are present. For further information on how to ease Your Entry into the festival, please read section Venue Safety.

  • Please ensure to check all ticket details upon receiving and get in touch as soon as possible if You notice any issues.

  • When purchasing Your ticket(s), You will be asked to enter some personal information such as name, email, phone number etc. Please view Our Privacy Policy for further information on this.

  • Single Day, Full Weekend Camping and Children Tickets are represented through colour or coded wrist bands. Single Day Ticket holders will not be allowed access to the camping area of the event site.

  • Tickets are QR coded E-Tickets and will be scanned and exchanged for a wristband upon entry.

  • Wristbands must be worn for the duration of the event. If you are caught without a wristband, you may be evicted from the site.

  • Tickets with the same QR code that have already been scanned will be denied access. Any inconvenience brought on by the unauthorised duplication of a ticket is not accepted by the organisers as responsibility or liability.

  • We highly advise You do not post Your e-ticket on social media or online platform viewable by the public.

  • Admission to the event is entirely at the risk of the ticket holder. No losses, injuries or damages caused by the event which include property damage, theft and loss of motor vehicles shall be borne by the organisers, where the cause is negligence on the part of a ticket holder, or an unexpected act by other patrons or third parties.

  • Traders are not entitled to guest list tickets - Access to the site will be limited to employees of traders only.

Refunds & Cancellation

  • All tickets are non-refundable except if the festival is cancelled, for which we will refund the face value of the ticket.

  • In the event of a postponement, including health & safety risks or diseases such as Covid-19, ticket holders will be informed of the new date. Ticket holders will be able to use their ticket for admission to the festival on the new date provided.

  • A ticket will not be exchanged or refunded if:

  1. it is stopped for any reason and is not completed after the festival has started.

  2. the start time is delayed for any reason on any day of the festival.

  3. after the date the ticket was purchased, the start time (but not the date) of the festival changes.

  4. the ticket has been used for entry into the event.

  • The time, date, duration and venue of the festival may be altered in the event of unforeseen or other circumstances, including safety and security concerns or decisions from authorised persons such as land owner or other certified authority.

Age Policy & Challenge 25

  • If a person is aged 15 and under, they must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 for the duration the Festival. A maximum of 4 persons aged 15 and under will be allowed entry with each adult (over 21).

  • Proof of identity and age must be provided on request during the entry process where the Organiser will operate a Challenge 25 Policy at the festival gates before tickets are checked in. If valid identification that proves your age when asked can't be provided (when accompanied by anyone aged 15 or under), You will be denied admission.

  • If you’re going to buy alcohol and think you look under 25, you’ll need a valid ID showing your age.

  • If you're found to be using identification that isn't yours or is a fake, it'll be confiscated along with your ticket and you will not get a refund.

 

Venue Safety

  • The Organisers reserve the right to remove or refuse admission of a customer without refund if a customer is found to:

  1. be disruptive, aggressive, use of insulting language or any behaviour that may lead to a breach of the peace.

  2. refuse the confiscation of prohibited items (listed below).

  3. fail to present valid identification when asked under the Challenge 25 Policy.

  4. have failed to meet the Terms.

  • A search operation will be carried out upon entry to the festival. The Organisers reserve the right to confiscate any items that are not permitted at the event.

  • No fires permitted - ANY KIND OF CAMPFIRES ARE NOT ALLOWED - Please enjoy the designated fire pit area rather than creating Your own to ensure the safety of others.

  • Prohibited items include the following:

Drugs - Fox Festival enforces a No Drugs Policy, including the possession, consumption or sale of illegal drugs.

Knives or other weapons

Glass (including bottles)

Fireworks / Flares

Sky Lanterns / Kites

Spray cans

Gazebos

Laser equipment

Animals (except registered assistant dogs)

External gas cylinders/canisters (not applicable to motor homes)

BBQ's / Disposable BBQ's

Gas Stoves

Megaphones/ Large Sound Systems

Bikes, Scooters, Skateboards, Roller Skates etc

Unauthorised items for trading, including the use of unauthorised event logos on goods

  • The Organisers are within the right to confiscate any other item deemed likely dangerous or harmful to others that is not listed above.

  • Please ensure to pitch tents a minimum of 1 metres apart to reduce any safety risks.

  • Performances may include pyrotechnic devices, lasers, and smoke machines.

  • Prolonged exposure to a high degree of sound may cause a hearing impairment.

  • First Aid is clearly sign posted and mapped out on the festival ground. In the event of an incident, You may be required to fill out a report providing some personal details if requested.

 

Parking

  • Parking Your car is completely at the discretion of the owner, and the Organisers won't be responsible for any losses or damages.

  • Parking is only allowed if the driver shows a valid Fox Festival 2024 parking pass. You can buy tickets online or in-person for £10 when you arrive at our site. This is to help minimise the festival’s carbon footprint and be as eco-friendly as possible.

  • Ticket holders will be allowed to enter and exit the car park as they please, however will not be allowed back on site without a valid wristband.

  • Campervans are allowed and will be directed to an allocated pitch within the campervan campsite providing a Valid Ticket is shown.

  • Sleeping in cars is not permitted. Please bring a tent for camping.

  • Upon arrival, parking spaces will be assigned accordingly.

Waste Management

  • It is strongly advised that the bins are used in a manner that is respectful of the surroundings to help reduce the festival's carbon footprint.

  • Traders and stall holders will be responsible for disposing of their waste in the designated waste areas.

  • Campers when leaving the site – Your tents must be taken with all Your belongings, including any waste that can be disposed of in the designated waste receptacles.

Travel & Finding Us

  • The site is tucked away in the High Peak, so with the right planning, You will be able to easily locate it.

  • Festival Location: Kenslow Farm (Scriviton Manor Farm Holdings), Middleton-by-Youlgrave, Bakewell, Derbyshire, DE45 1LY.

  • Grindleford and Eyam are the closest train stations, approximately 10 minutes' drive from the accommodation. A taxi will be required from the stations to the accommodation, as there are no footpaths on the roads, so walking is not recommended.

  • In order to reduce the environmental impact of the festival, it is strongly recommended that attendees make an effort to car share.

Event Amenities & Accessibility

  • On-site amenities will include access to drinking water, a campfire, food and beverage stands, waste bins and skips, and toilets.

  • If you need access to disabled toilets, please notify us in advance so that we can set up a designated camping area where they can be accessed more easily.

  • If you have any other access requirements, please contact us far in advance so we can cater to Your needs.

  • There will be some seating on site and around the site but may be limited at certain times. Camp Chairs and/or portable seating is permitted providing You follow Waste Management Terms.

General

  • Unless required or permitted by law to do otherwise, personal information provided by You to the Company will only be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any consents given by You in relation to Your personal information. Please read Our Privacy Policy before purchasing a ticket.

  • If You lost anything at the festival, get in contact and Fox Trading & Events Ltd via email at info@foxfestival.co.uk and We will arrange its return via post or collection. Postal charges will be covered by the ticket holder.

  • If You buy something from a third party trader, Fox Trading & Events Ltd does not accept any responsibility for it.

  • By visiting the festival site, You consent to the use of Your image for any promotional, marketing or advertising purposes by Fox trading & event Ltd.

  • The Terms and Conditions of this Agreement may be amended at any time by the Authorising Officer of Fox Trading & Events Ltd. Any alterations shall be immediately published on the Official Website: http://www.foxfestival.co.uk.

  • In the event of a dispute, Fox Trading & Event Ltd will aim to make a good faith effort to settle it through consultation or negotiation and try to come to a fair and equitable agreement between the parties within a period of 21 days.
